The Final Warped Tour

Whether you’re a hardcore fan or just someone who loves live music - Warped Tour is one of the best days of the summer. Going to “the final Vans Warped Tour” was very bittersweet. I started my day dancing to The Maine. Even if you don’t know the words, it’s worth it just to see John Callaghan’s (lead singer) moves. I then saw the purple haired frontman Awsten Knight (Waterparks) captivate the crowd singing hits such as: Crave, Lucky People and Stupid For You. I ended my day with seeing “Fashion-Art Rock” band Palaye Royale. Fake blood on Remington Leith’s (lead singer) face, he crowd surfed (on a giant pool floatie may I add...) all while preforming. They also mentioned that they are coming back to Cleveland, Ohio on a headlining tour. If I were you, I wouldn’t miss it.

With a name like Set It Off - you have to live up to expectations. If you were lucky enough to be apart of the almost sold out 800 person crowd, you’d know this show was truly a once in a lifetime experience. The show kicked off at 6:30 with L.I.F.T followed by Super Whatevr and With Confidence. After a digital countdown to midnight, Set It Off came out with one of the first singles off the newly released album, “Midnight”. The setlist included a drum solo by drummer, Max Danziger. The boys ended the night with a thank you speech, followed by “Wolf In Sheep’s Clothing”. BONES UK

BONES UK is a powerful girl duo from the UK consisting of Rosie Bones and Carmen Vandenberg. You might have seen them open for Palaye Royale last year, or you might be debating catching them on tour this summer. The band’s first full length album comes out on July 12th. If you have heard any of their other songs such as “Beautiful Is Boring” or “Girls Can’t Play Guitar” you’re as excited as we are to hear the new album. The girls have been keeping us on our toes by releasing two new singles, “Filthy Freaks” and “Choke”. The House On Cliff

This past week I got the opportunity to see the rock band The House On Cliff in Akron, Ohio. If you haven't listened to them already, you're missing out. They recently released a single, "Life Goes On" and they also have two EPs out, "The House On Cliff" and "Skin & Bones". I would highly recommend listening to them if you like rock, or just looking for a high energy band. Going to one of their gigs is definitely worth it. They have such a good vibe while preforming and they really give it their all each night. I also got to sit down with the band and ask them some questions about their music.  You can watch it here.
